What are "Healthy Happy Foods"?


"Healthy Happy Food" is my philosophy for cooking that abstains from using most animal products for the purpose of avoiding harm to animals, the environment and ourselves. 

My goal of sharing these recipes is to show traditionally "omnivorous" people that cooking without animal products is not deprivation--its delicious, nutritious and beautiful.  

In my recipes I take careful consideration to use foods that are naturally high in nutrients, preparing them in ways that retain their nutritional value and pairing flavors and colors in well balanced combinations that satisfy the appetite, eyes and tastes of even the most meat-lovin'ist of meat eaters.
